The sun may not be shining, but there is something different about today! For Valentines Day, I bought Dan (on clearance) a Weather Station. It is more of a novelty than anything, but among the normal features are; Date, Time, Temperature (inside and out), barometric pressure, etc. But, it has a couple of cool features too! It displays the time of sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset. In the upper right corner there is a Weather Girl. She dresses and undresses according to the weather! For the most part, we have only seen her in her winter coat, scarf and hat. She has had her umbrella out too. but today, the hat is off, the scarf is off and her winter coat is gone!! Woohoo!
I opened a few windows just a litte bit as I am cleaning today, but the best part of all is what I hear! We have a pond in the back yard, and because there is a bit of a breeze, I can hear the water lapping upon the rocks!.... How awesome!
I just checked the map and it looks like if we are lucky, we will have some sunshine yet today!
I'm sure I could get disappointed if I checked the 10 day forecast, but we'll take this little gift while we can!
