We had a great evening at the New Bremen Invitational. First it was wonderful weather. (And no, I won't complain that it was too warm!) Second, Minster girls won. Third, we had four meet records. It was fun to watch. Our 4X1 set a record. Our runner won the open 400 and set a record. Great job Hannah!
Natalie in her first event, won the mile (in picture above). A 7th grader from Ft. Loramie has been close behind her all year. Then about an hour later, she ran the 800. She took off really fast and stayed that way. She not only broke her record, but the meet record. Her prior PR was a 2:35 and the meet record was a 2:31. She ran a 2:28. No one was even close to her. Fifteen minutes later she ran the anchor in the 4X400 relay. (4 girls each run one lap, a 400). They won that and set a meet record for that too! They were in prime form! Way to go girls!
They are celebrating with Pizza Hut and a sleepover. She has strict rules. No staying up all night! I don't know how these kids do it!
It is just the beginning of the weekend and I'm already exhausted. 5 days of garage sale and I'm not done yet! I closed up around 4:30 and left everything as it was to head to the Invitational. So, tomorrow morning I am going to box it up for next year. It was a successful sale, but it was a full week of preparation and then during the sale I usually had someone here at all times, so nothing got done in the house!
Hmmm...do I catch up on housework tomorrow, or start my second garden?

For the weekend I vote to lay around and hope that the cleaning fairy comes. ;)
