Twenty years ago, right about this time of the evening, our first was born. Wow! It is her 20th birthday already! Amazing how time really flies by. I remember the daffodils were in full bloom the day we brought her home from the hospital. There are some memories that just stick with you forever.
She was able to come home Saturday morning just in time to quick head to Ft. Loramie to watch Natalie run at the large invitational. Jenna ran into her best friend, Brigitte, who also had her sister, Amanda (Natalie's good friend) running. They had 2 hours watching the races and catching up on stuff! Maybe they were remembering their days running track back in Jr. High...eons ago, right Jenna?....the good ole days before injuries, right?
So, we celebrated Easter, and her birthday yesterday. After candy and chocolate all day, what's a little cake and ice cream? I need to back to my lenten sacrifices or I'll gain 10 lbs in no time with all this junk around here!
So, she is back in Toledo for 3 more weeks. Looks like she will be back here for the summer. She found a job here and not there, so we are happy to have her around again!
