I'm back!
Wow, what a couple of days. Thursday, Friday and Saturday was spent cleaning, cooking, mowing, trimming, decorating, scrubbing, fretting, stressing and running around crazy! We had the opportunity to hit a few parties Saturday night, but of course I had a hard time relaxing knowing what was in store for the next day, and what I still had to accomplish.

Graduation day was just wonderful. Mass was my first chance to just sit back and relax and enjoy the day. The music was wonderful (great job, Folk Group) and the ceremonies were meaningful and uplifting. The weather cooperated nicely and the party went smooth! Jenna suggested we make a favorite banana slush and wow, did it go over! It was 80 degrees and this was very refreshing. I made two large batches of the non-alcoholic version and it was a hit. The kids liked it and the adults did to, (with some added spirits involved :). The biggest job of all was dealing with all the leftover food. Needless to say, we have been eating chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and noodles every meal. Nobody is complaining yet!
We received Red's tickets for Monday afternoon, so most of the cleanup happened Sunday evening, and the rest could just wait! We packed a cooler and took off early to catch batting practice. The bats were busy and it was a good game with 19 hits by the 4rth inning until we ran unto the 2 hour rain delay! ugghh! We decided to stick around, and yes, the Red's ended up winning.
So, yes, as expected, there was still plenty to finish today....chairs, tables, coolers...major put away mode! We all went in different directions this evening with a baseball game for the boys, softball practice and open gym for Natalie, a meeting for Dan and the Jenna and Lauren at work. Swim team also started today, so we are back in the thick of activities.
I must admit, I am a little distracted writing tonight...the Cavs are playing and not winning....not happy people in this house tonight.... time to stop and watch end of the game....
