We are in major end-of-the-year mode now!
Last evening was the Junior High MAC Track meet. The girls dominated (again) and won. Natalie had a great mile race and also a great 800 time. She ran a 2:27 800 meter which was a PR for her. She was trying to beat the Minster Jr. High record, but missed it by one second! Darn... But, she had an amazing season as she went undefeated in all the events she ran. Way to go!
Lauren started her last day of high school with breakfast outside of the High School (on the grill) with her Senior class and then ran at the High School MAC meet this evening in the 2 mile and finished 7th. It wasn't her greatest time, but not bad for not racing for a month. I think she was a little sad when she came home from school this afternoon. So many milestones. So much happening so fast.
Natalie had 8th Grade Graduation this evening. That started at our house with pictures by the pond. She kept clicking all night too. She shared with me her pictures...I think she took one of herself with everyone there! That must be what you do when you are voted "most popular" of your 8th grade class. :)
The boys had a baseball game and had a good time hitting the ball. They won 17-0....I think. We had to split up this evening...too many places to be at one time! I'm not feeling too bad I missed it, as there will be 20-30 more!
The Graduation parties start for us tomorrow. We have 10 altogether, with 3 this weekend. It seems like Jenna just graduated yesterday...I'm sure glad there is 4 years before Natalie's! I need everyone to stop growing up and just stay where they are for awhile so I can catch up....
