Jenna and Lauren are home and Christmas is 6 days away. That pretty much surmises my life lately. I tried to get as much wrapping and cleaning done before they arrived. I cleaned their bedrooms, their bathroom, washed their sheets and blankets and comforters and then washed their clothes when they came home. I wrapped the other day and am pretty much getting close to calling it quits as far as shopping goes. We had basketball games Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and squeezed in a dinner last night with friends and baptism today.
I must share. We had friends over for dinner last evening. I made a turkey breast, potatoes and gravy, noodles, corn, rolls and salad, and of course a few before dinner cocktails. Jenna and her 4 friends (male and female) joined us after dinner and together with our friends, played Partini until after midnight. Lauren and Sam also joined in and it was quite a sight to see a few "40 somethings" play with a bunch of barely 21 year olds. The truth is everyone had fun...what more could a Mom ask for?... her college girls come home for Christmas break and they stay home and play games with Mom and Dad.....
