So, last night on the news they were talking about how January 25th can be described as "the most depressing day of the year." Hmmmm..
Can't say I've heard of that before...To be honest, even though we haven't seen the sunshine in like 13 days and the wind was whipping today and the snow showers were in full force yesterday, I'm kinda feeling we are on the upswing. Only a few more days and January is over and February is a short month and then Track starts at the end of march, so it's like almost Spring, right?
See, I'm optimistic....no depression over here. If you hit a store or mall, you will see the spring fashions in full force...complete with flip-flops everywhere already! I remember back to those post-college days when we would celebrate the end of January with a summer themed party, complete with pina coladas and strawberry dacquiris...maybe this Sunday, we'll renew that tradition!!
