Well, this is about as good as you can get 13 people to be in front of the camera especially when there are three under three! And of course there is always one who doesn't want to cooperate! (can you tell which one?) We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Jenna and Lauren came home Friday night and we all sat around the table eating wonderful seafood fettucine alfredo. One of those meals during lent that I almost felt as though I was cheating! Mmmm....
We traditionally color eggs on Saturday. Who cares that the youngest child is 13...I look forward to it every year, and I think they do too! I then started cooking for 9, as Jenna's new boyfriend Matt joined us along with Sam. We had the best evening ever. Steaks were grilled and wine was poured and we sat around the table after dinner for over an hour. G'ma and G'pa and the rest of the family joined us for desert and it was a splendid evening!
Easter Sunday was a beautiful day...it was great to be able to wear our "Easter best" to church without having to put winter coats over spring dresses like we sometimes do. The kids played jump rope and we even had popsicles at Grandmas. The girls headed back to Toledo and then I had another week of spring cleaning. Only 2 rooms to go :)
We sat outside Monday at Natalie's track meet in shorts and then 4 days later with winter coats, hats and mittens. That is April for you! Saturday we split up. I went to Anna to watch Natalie and Dan went to Ft. Loramie to watch the boys. All are running well. Times need to drop, but we have a good month before we really need to worry. Jonathan, who never though he could run...or maybe just didn't want to contend with family competition has the family record in the 400 meter run...(yes, he's pretty proud of that!)
Well, that almost catches me up...doesn't our dull life bore you?
