I have to admit, I am actually kind of glad that it is a rainy Monday. Just what I needed today. After the last ten days of go,go, go, I can actually just stay in my house and catch up on laundry without feeling like I have to finish the bricks in the front yard, or get the garden ready for planting, or really anything that would require major motivation to any great degree.
All last week was prep for garage sale which was on Thursday and Friday. I closed up at four on Friday only to quick get to Bremen for the junior high track invite at 5. We then came home at 9 only to tear down and put everything away (until 11p.m.) Saturday was on the road by 8:30 to Milton Union, home at four, church at five and then crash. I needed to refuel a little before getting up again at 6:30 Sunday morning, to be on the road at 8 to head to Toledo. We picked up a free wood bunk bed for the boys. (Remember my freecycle site?) It is awesome. It is a twin over full just like we wanted, the same color wood as their other furniture and in wonderful condition! So excited!
So, does anyone want a blue metal, good condition, twin over full bunk bed before I post on the freecycle site? Send me an email or call me!
We then loaded as much Lauren's stuff that we could into the back of the Yukon to keep that last trip a little easier. We took both girls to lunch and took Jenna to Aldi's to get some groceries and pretty much headed home. Yes, I went all the way to Toledo and didn't do one bit of real shopping. It was pouring all day up there, so by the time we got home we were both damp, soggy and basically worn out. Had to empty the whole Yukon and straighten up the house...and throw in laundry for the next track meet today. I was in bed at 9:52....that has to be a record!
So today, I do have a list looming, but nothing is critical. I'm just hoping for a phone call or a text saying the track meet in Marion is cancelled. Now that would really make my day!
