Darn, we are home!

Ok, we are back and the laundry is done! It was a very laid back, relaxing get away. I thought rather than ramble, I would tell my story with pictures. This is the twins at Saugatuck chillin' while Natalie and I were strolling the quaint shops.

One of my favorite pictures!!! The boys were having fun!

We spent a half day at Silver Lake, and even though it was a little chilly, the dune ride was one of our highlights. We were all in the last seat and were travelling up and down the dunes. I still am surprised that all that sand was on the western coast of Michigan!

All of us bundled up...the dune buggy stopped right on the beach!
This was simply amazing. This is a few from the top of Sleeping Bear Dunes. It is 450 feet down to the water. some of those black dots are people going up and down. No Way! The kids wanted to go down, but they said it could take 30-40 minutes to get back up!

This is another picture from Sleeping Bear overlooking a lake. We did climb this one!

Now the easy part...the run down! The big white vehicle in the parking lot is our camper!
This was at a backwoods campground....All the kids wanted to fish! (no, we did not catch anything!)

Jenna and Lauren joined us in Frankenmuth for the weekend. It was a little crowded with 7 of us in the motorhome, but hey, family time is special anyway you can get it!!

The Famous Zehnder's Chicken Restaurant! We didn't eat there....(really expensive..) but a great place for a picture.

The kids having fun.....well, at least Jon is!!

Camping, if that is what you call travelling in a motorhome complete with bathroom and shower and generator, is a great way to go, but still a lot of work! I have done 17 loads of laundry since we arrived home Sunday evening.

We are back to the norm here again. Natalie had her softball tournament Monday night, and was eliminated, so she is down to 3 sports, and the boys had their Rec Leaugue tournament last evening and won. We have a swim meet this evening and the Russia Baseball tourney for the boys Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lauren will be at Country Concert and Jenna is now working all the time at La Piazza!

Natalie figured out there is only 6 weeks left until school starts....I then realized Jenna and Lauren leave in 5! Oh my... so little time, and so much more of summer to cram in!
