Yuckkk!!!

Some people may think this snow is pretty, but not me.  I absolutely hate the snow and this weather.  In my opinion, there is nothing good about it.  It is snowing heavily today.  I would say there is 2 inches on ground already and much more to come.

I am so glad Jenna and Lauren are back in Toledo, today would have been awful to travel in. They had practice today and meetings with coaches.  Jenna is still sidelined (again) with her IT band but Lauren runs Sunday afternoon in Kalamazoo.  They start classes on Monday.  Before we know it, it will be that first week in May and Lauren will be home for the sunmer. Time really does seem to fly...but not fast enough today.  I don't even feel like going to get milk up town!

Jonathan and Andrew both had a language arts project last evening.  The rest of us helped.  They had to write a 20 line poem with words cut out from newspapers and magazines.  It may sound fun and easy, but it wasn't.  2 hours into it, Andrew had 6 lines done.  So, tv was off and we helped.  They started right after dinner and we finished right at ten. I'm still trying to figure out the real benefit of some of these lengthy, basically unmeaningful assignments...can anyone shed some light on this one for me?

Ok, for the first time in months, I am not doing a load of laundry today. The kids did not bring theirs down this morning and the basket in the laundry room is only 1/2 full.  Can you tell I'm not in the mood to do much? This is also my scheduled day to clean boys bedroom and bathroom.  Ain't feeling that either. I suppose I could make myself another cup of hot tea and gaze out at the snow....!
